Dilveer S. Vahali is the deputy general counsel at TCG, where he assists with all aspects of legal and mergers and acquisition related matters. Prior to joining the organization, Vahali was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he concentrated his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate governance. He represented buyers, sellers, private equity funds and their portfolio companies and financial institutions in a variety of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, secured and unsecured acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, restructurings, recapitalizations, minority investments, and executive compensation and equity incentive arrangements. Vahali began his career in investment banking as a financial analyst in Citigroup’s Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions group. Vahali has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” each year from 2018-2021.

Vahali graduated with a BA in international studies from Johns Hopkins University before receiving his JD from the USC Gould School of Law and his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
