Nadine Tan is associate counsel at Green Dot Public Schools California, a network of charter schools whose mission is to help transform public education so all students graduate prepared for college, leadership and life.

Previously, Tan served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. S. James Otero (ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. After her clerkship, she practiced general and employment litigation and counseling at Parker, Milliken, Clark, O’Hara & Samuelian, where she was active in recruiting associates and serving on the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee.

Tan is the vice president and membership committee chair of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association. She is passionate about community service, mentorship and advancing the interests and representation of Chinese and Asian American legal professionals. She was selected to the 2020 and 2021 Super Lawyers Southern California “Rising Stars” lists and was recognized by the Los Angeles County Bar Association as an Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month honoree.

Tan is also a double Trojan. She received her BS, magna cum laude, from the USC Marshall School of Business and minored in psychology. She received her JD from the USC Gould School of Law, where she was a peer mentor to incoming 1Ls and the alumni relations chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. She is a member of the California State Bar.

Nadine teaches Legal Profession to USC Gould LLM students.
