Gilbert Bradshaw is a partner at Wilson & Oskam, LLP, a boutique securities law firm in New York City and Irvine, Calif. Bradshaw’s securities regulation experience includes assisting small to mid-sized technology companies raising billions of dollars from private equity firms, venture capitalists and his specialty, self-directed initial public offerings. 

Bradshaw began his legal career in the New York office of Chadbourne & Parke, LLP where he represented a variety of bank clients such as Citigroup, HSBC, RBS, Credit Suisse and JPMorgan. Later he managed outside counsel at an international mining company with public and private entities in Latin America, Africa, the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

Bradshaw earned his BA in History (with honors) from Brigham Young University and earned his JD from the BYU Law School. After practicing for a few years, he earned an LLM in business taxation from the University of California, Los Angeles Law School. Prior to teaching at USC, he taught securities regulation at Whittier Law School.

Re: Nomi Stolzenberg

Nomi Stolzenberg wrote an op-ed arguing that the idea of religious freedom is being used to undermine other rights. Three recent Supreme Court cases in particular have confused the idea of religious liberty and the separation between church and state. "Using the democratic process to resolve moral and policy disagreements is not discrimination, so long as every group gets due consideration," she writes.
