Casey Schwab serves as vice president of Business and Legal Affairs for NFL Players Incorporated, the licensing and marketing business of the NFL Players Association. In that role, Schwab leads all business and legal initiatives for the company, including negotiating with the NFL and key partners such as Electronic Arts, Nike, Fanatics, VISA, Microsoft, Pepsi and others. He is also the business affairs head for Athlete Content & Entertainment LLC (ACE Media), a media company focused on delivering athlete lifestyle content across all media, as well as the OneTeam Collective, the first ever athlete-driven startup accelerator built in collaboration with Kleiner Perkins, Harvard, Intel Capital and others.

Schwab has experience as a lecturer in law at USC Gould, where he created and launched a course called “Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Online Dispute Resolution.” He is an alumnus of Gould (2013) and the USC Mediation Clinic, where he mediated cases across Los Angeles County. Before moving to Washington, D.C. in June of 2017, Schwab lived in Los Angeles, most recently working for FOX Sports and before that NFL Media.

Jean Reisz was quoted about the legality of Los Alamitos refusal to acknowledge California's sanctuary policies. "The state attorney general can seek to enforce California's laws through a lawsuit," said Reisz. "If California did sue an individual city, I believe a city such as Los Alamitos would raise the defense that the law was unconstitutional or violated federal law. I think the state attorney general might elect to wait for the outcome of the federal lawsuit against California before beginning other lawsuits that are going to be dealing with the same or similar issues in an effort to conserve judicial resources."
