Sofia Aguilar specializes in the areas of entertainment, business, and employment. Aguilar's practice is client-centered, with a focus on working collaboratively with her clients to effectively and efficiently achieve their goals. Aguilar also serves as a lecturer in law at USC Gould School of Law. She has also been selected as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past three consecutive years.

Re: Orin Kerr

Orin Kerr was cited for his recent editorial on his experience taking the California bar exam much later in life in order to practice law in another state. "It’s not like you can test lawyerly competence among 20 topics any better than with 10 topics," Kerr commented. "It just requires more time memorizing, and it’s not obvious what that has to do with lawyerly ability.”
