Application Status Check

After you submit your application through LSAC, we will send you a confirmation email that provides you with a username and password for the LSAC Online Status Check system. Then you may log in and create a new, personalized password, and periodically check your application status.

Admission Decisions

We render decisions on a rolling basis, between December and May. You will be notified of your decision via email.

Applicants may be admitted, denied or placed on the waiting list. If you are placed on the waiting list, we encourage you to periodically submit letters of continued interest. You may also update your file with new information that may support an offer of admission. Once you have been placed on the waiting list, all correspondence should be directed to waitlist@law.usc.edu.

If you are denied admission, we have no appeals process, but you may reapply in a subsequent year. We maintain application files from previous years, so you should consider updating your personal statement and supplemental information. We recommend you submit at least one new letter of recommendation.
