Kaitlyn McQuown is a communications professional with experience in the non-profit and education sectors. Following her graduation from UC Santa Barbara in 2017 where she double majored in Film & Media Studies and Communication, Kaitlyn joined the communications team at The Painted Turtle, where she developed her storytelling abilities through copywriting, social media management, and graphic design. Most recently, she served as Communications Manager at Angel Flight West, a non-profit organization comprised of thousands of volunteer pilots who provide free medical transportation to people in need. At Angel Flight, she refined the organization's digital marketing strategy to expand its reach and target pilots and potential passengers. Outside of work, Kaitlyn is a dedicated volunteer at the Midnight Mission and the Downtown Women's Center, as well as The World Stage Press, where she designs book covers for published authors.
