Women's Law Association - WLA

The Women's Law Association (WLA) supports the advancement of women in the legal community and society at large.  WLA provides resources and support for students to excel at USC Gould and in their future careers.  Most notably, members can join the WLA Peer Mentorship Program, which matches 1L students with 2L and 3L mentors.  The purpose of the program is to provide 1Ls with an experienced mentor who can serve as an academic resource, professional contact and friendly face on campus.  WLA members can also take advantage of events throughout the year.  Upcoming events include panel discussions with women in various legal fields, volunteer events at a local women's center, much-needed study breaks, and USC WLA alumni and social events.
