Public Interest Law Foundation
Welcome to the Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF). USC Law PILF is a student-run, non-profit organization that promotes social justice lawyering, equal access to the law, and the empowerment of marginalized and underrepresented communities. We are dedicated to developing a service ethic among law students and to facilitating careers in public interest law. We welcome and encourage the participation of all USC Law students.
PILF promotes public interest law at USC in three main ways: 1) PILF organizes pro bono clinic opportunities for students to volunteer with local organizations, 2) PILF hosts lectures and events at the law school about public interest law issues, and 3) PILF funds students pursuing public interest work over the summer through the PILF grant program.
PILF begins and ends with the involvement of USC Law students and our generous alumni, faculty, and administrative supporters. We look forward to meeting you!
