Phi Delta Phi - International Legal Fraternity
Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity was established in 1869 to promote a higher standard of professional ethics, and is among the oldest of legal organizations in North America. Phi Delta Phi has one hundred and thirty-one active chapters and has initiated in excess of 200,000 members, making it the world's largest legal fraternity whose membership is restricted to students and practitioners of the law. More judges, American presidents, governors, senators, representatives, cabinet members, ambassadors, American Bar Association presidents, Association of American Law School presidents and law school Deans have come from the ranks of Phi Delta Phi than from any other legal fraternity.
Since PDP is re-opening at USC, elections will be held in the fall, and is a great way for 1L’s and 2L’s to be on the executive board, and have leadership positions within an established USC organization. Phi Delta Phi is known as an elite legal fraternity because many chapters place a strict GPA requirement for new members. The USC Chapter has decided not to place a GPA requirement because of the scholastic devotion associated with every student who enters USC Law.
Current Chapter Officers would all love to talk and meet with anyone interested in becoming part of PDP.
Please feel free to visit PDP’s website at, http://www.phideltaphi.org/, or email Peter, Kyle, or Anna, if you are interested in becoming a PDP member or have any questions.
