Critical Updates for In House Counselors

The Institute for Corporate Counsel for more than three decades has been the premier Los Angeles conference at which corporate counsel professionals gather to compare notes, keep abreast of key legal developments and network with colleagues. Focusing on the intersection of law, business and politics, the Institute's sessions feature prominent speakers and timely panels. Featuring morning plenary sessions, keynote lunch speaker John Chiang (California State Contoller), tracked breakout sessions and several opportunities to interact with in house counselors, including a hosted cocktail reception, the annual Institute features a full day of learning and networking. • 2008 Institute Successes
  Reviews from attendees of the 2008 Institute were overwhelmingly positive. The top-notch program generated standing room only crowds during the morning plenary session, filled every available seat during the luncheon presentation and packed the afternoon sessions. The networking sessions, including breaks and an evening cocktail reception, were highly attended.
• Partnership Between USC Law and the LACBA
  The Institute for Corporate Counsel is a separate legal entity, the Board of Governors of which includes selections by USC Law and the Corporate Law Departments Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, as well as at large selections. The Institute's Board of Governors relies on the input of the Institute advisory board as to speakers and topics when planning the annual Institute seminar.
