Entertainment Law and Business

Hosted by USC Gould School of Law and the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Institute on Entertainment Law and Business has been a Los Angeles tradition for over 50 years. Join dozens of well-known speakers and nearly 750 of your professional peers to address the latest challenges facing the industry. With morning plenary sessions, four networking opportunities and afternoon breakouts that allow in-depth learning with industry leaders in an intimate setting, this is the can't-miss event for entertainment law and business leaders.

Planning for the 2017 Institute is currently underway.  We expect the same relevant and informative programming and nationally renowned speakers as that we have had in prior years. Keep checking back for updates as we have them.

Miramax Film's Steven Schoch led a panel on the exploitation of film and television libraries with Fox Home Entertainment's Mike Dunn. The ever-popular Jeffrey Cole (Director, Center for the Digital Future, USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism) returned once again for his Industry update.

Other speakers throughout the day included: Kris Ahrend (Warner Music Group), Vincent Chieffo (Greenberg Traurig), Shaun Clark (Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton), Jennifer Gaudry (SAG-AFTRA), Judith Gilbert, Randy Grimmett (Global Music Rights), Mark Halloran, Charles Harder (Harder Mirell & Abrams), Tania Hoff (NBCUniversal), Matthew Hurewitz (Hurewitz And Company), Neville Johnson (Johnson & Johnson), John Kelly (Harbottle & Lewis), Glen Kulik (Kulik Gottesman Siegel & Ware), Michael Maizner (Loeb & Loeb), Dr. Richard Marks (Sony Interactive Entertainment), Guy Primus (The Virtual Reality Company), Eric Reid (William Morris Endeavor), Gary Roberts (Fox Entertainment Group), Carol Ross-Burnett (Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton), Ted Schilowitz (Twentieth Century Fox), Sabrina Stephenson (Netflix), Gail Migdal Title (ADR Services) and Thomas White..
