Interlibrary Loan Service

ILL Borrowing for Current USC Law School Members

The USC Law Library provides interlibrary loan (ILL) borrowing services only to current USC Law students, faculty, and staff. This service is available free of charge. When a needed item is not available at any of the University Park Campus (USC) libraries, members of the law school community can place an ILL request to obtain that item. Please see our ILL Borrowing Policies webpage for details on how to submit ILL requests and for an overview of our interlibrary loan service policies and procedures.

ILL Borrowing for Other USC Members

Other USC patrons on the University Park Campus must contact IDD, central USC Libraries' Integrated Document Delivery service, to place interlibrary loan requests. USC members at the Health Sciences Campus must contact Norris Medical Library's interlibrary loan service, DocRetriever, to place ILL requests.

ILL Lending to Other Libraries

USC Gould School of Law Library is an OCLC member.
Our OCLC symbol is ZZX.

  • ILL Lending Policy
We accept ILL requests from OCLC libraries that use the IFM payment option, and the requests of libraries with which we have a reciprocal lending agreement. We use the OCLC-based WorldCat Resource Sharing (WCRS) module to process interlibrary loan requests and prefer to receive ILL requests via OCLC's WCRS. We will also accept requests via fax, mail and/or ARIEL.
