Ankit Shah works as an inpatient pediatrician at the LAC+USC Medical Center and directs the social science curriculum at the USC Keck School of Medicine.  Shah attended Creighton University for his undergraduate degree and Columbia University for medical and law school. His academic interests are health policy and bioethics, especially focusing on underprivileged youth.

"The state's power to deny individuals their freedom is an extraordinary power, and it should be reserved for harms that other mechanisms cannot remedy."
